Day 1

https://www.literacyshed.com/edgar.html Today, we will be learning how to describe how a character looks.

Look at the pictures of Edgar in the worksheet for Monday 14th December.

Use my example to help you describe him.

Each day please could you read your school book or a book with an adult at home.

During the week, it is also important to continue learning phonics.

Go to the Phonics play website and play the free phonics games for phase 5. Picnic on Pluto is a good game to practice real and nonsense words.

This week in school, we will be building a trebuchet! We are making one using lollipop sticks and plastic spoons, a little like the one on the link below. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/build-a-mini-trebuchet/#:~:text=Take%20five%20popsicle%20sticks%20and,repeat%20with%20the%20other%20pieces.

However, this picture shows a simpler version! See if you can make a catapult or trebuchet at home!
