Week 7 W/C 18th May

Hello Explorers,

This week, I have tried to film myself explaining the literacy tasks! As I am getting used to technology, I have used two websites to upload these to. The first two videos (on Monday), you will need to follow the link and type in the password: train. This will allow you to view both videos. The videos for the remaining lessons are on youtube and you will just need to follow the links.

After filming, I realised the lessons were a little too long to upload. So, they have been split into two videos for each day. Make sure you watch them in order for each lesson to make sense. I hope you enjoy creating your own stories this week.

For topic this week, please follow the link to National Oak Academy. Select the appropriate year group and complete the foundation lessons. If you are still using the BINGO tasks from the previous weeks, please do not feel you need to complete extra lessons. This is mainly there for those pupils who feel like they need a little extra.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions,

Mrs Ramsdale.

During the week, it is also important to continue learning phonics.

Mrs Ramsdale’s Group focus on: alternative pronunciations of ‘ee’. https://new.phonicsplay.co.uk/resources

Mrs Tucker’s Group focus on: recapping alternative ‘er, ure, and or’ spellings.

A good link to practice this is below. Scroll down to the phase 5c section to practice these alternative spellings.

Use the spellings documents below to test yourself at home.
