This week’s tasks are:

  • English - BBC Bitesize tasks and a writing task on PurpleMash. 
    Maths – a mixture of BBC and MyMaths tasks.
  • Times Tables Rock Stars – 5 sessions please.
  • Topic – complete the three tasks written below. There are some PurpleMash activities to complete with these this week please.

This week, I have set you three ‘topic’ themed lessons.

 

Complete at least two of these tasks please.

 

Task 1 (History and Art):

Read either the Mayan Creation Story or the Mayan Myth (page 12-14).

Log onto PurpleMash and create an animation which is at least 7 slides long, summarising what happens.

Pick one of these and read carefully. Then, complete the 2do on PurpleMash.

Task 2 (Science):

Pick one of the science investigations tasks from the options below.

Once completed, write up what you found out using the PurpleMash investigation template.

Task 3 (PSHE) – Each year group has a different task.

I would like you to write a letter to your secondary school introducing yourself. You can think about:

  • Your friends.
  • What are your interests?
  • What do you enjoy most in school?
  • What would you like more help with?
  • What are you looking forward to most and why?
  • What are you worried about most and why?

 

Complete the letter on PurpleMash 2Write 2Do. I will aim to print them out and send them to your new school once they are completed.
