Day 3

Can you choose a dinosaur from the book and write a describing sentence about it, e.g. The dinosaur has 3 horns and is yellow what is it?

Make this into a game read your description can somebody guess which dinosaur it is?

Day 4

You are organising a dinosaur party, write sentences to answer these questions.

  1. What music do the dinosaurs listen to?
  2. What food would the T-Rex eat?
  3. How many dinosaurs would be at the party?
  4. What flavor would be in the dinosaur’s party bags?
  5. What games would they play?

Can you draw a picture of the party?

Day 5

The dinosaurs make a lot of noise in the book, can you find words to describe this? E.g. Clatter, bomp, thump, shudder.

Could you make as much noise as a dinosaur? (I know some of you could!) In a sentence tell me how you would make as more noise than a dinosaur? Would you use anything to help you?

Here are some fun activities that I thought you might like to try:

You could make your own dinosaur using different materials.

You could make an instrument out of cereals box, empty bottles fill the with rice or sand.

You could have your own party and make up a dinosaur dance.

You could paint your feet and make footprints like the dinosaurs do.

Have fun with your own name, can you make a dinosaur name? E.g. AdamOsaurus or Charliedactyl
