Look at our Learning!

We welcomed parents in for a musical performance of our fifes and flutes!

We had a taster session with Derbyshire Cricket Club.

In Forest Schools this week, we have been transforming our nature area. We cleared the seating area and made it useable again!

In Forest Schools this week, we have been making tripods and learning how to make different knots.

To end our Greek topic, we made some delicious pitta pizzas! We tried lots of fresh salad, feta cheese, hummus and tzatziki.

Today, we made our Greek chariots!

In DT, we have been learning how to cut with a saw and join using a glue gun. We will use these skills when we make our chariots!

RAF Space Challenge - we became aerospace engineers!

Christmas jumper day 2021 - you all looked amazing!

Puppy Visit! Today, we had a visit from lots of little Gordon Setter puppies today. Thank you to Daniel's mum who brought them in for us to meet, we loved it!

We made clay cartouches in our art lesson today!

An Egyptian tomb was found in our classroom during half term! Philosophers had to become archaeologists and discover what was inside.

Week 6 of Forest Schools - We made a campfire this week and even toasted some bread. It was delicious!

Week 5 of Forest Schools - collecting firewood and making sculptures out of clay.

Platform Thirty 1 have visited us today and have shown us how to create our own sculptures ready for our visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park on Friday.

We have been conducting a habitat survey around school and used the pooters to investigate the different minibeasts we discovered!
