Class Learning Blog

Today, we took part in the RAF Glider challenge. We found out how the RAF use different shapes and methods to create gliders, which are used to train cadet pilots who join the RAF. We used these ideas to design, test and evaluate our own glider planes!

As part of our ArtsMark Celebration week, we have been creating Viking art. We explored stormy ship scenes and created collages; carefully sketched dragon prows and had a go at carving dragon designs into soap.

Trailblazers remember. We created Remembrance crosses and hung messages from them. We also went to the memorial in the village to show our respect.

In art this half term, we have been exploring recreating flowers using pastels, sketching pencils and making models using wire. Have a look at some of our amazing models!

Fencing skills! As part of our school sport partnership competition, we learnt some of the key skills of fencing and then competed in events to look at accuracy and agility.

Our Halloween treasure hunt!
